Awakening Being Module 11

In this module we're exploring surrender on the most basic level. It's very, very simple.

And yet it can help to think things through a bit and set the orientation, and it's also helpful to have meditated and explored awakening being to have some certainty in what your basic feeling of being alive is like, of your presence before anything extra is attached to it.

For presence, we have all the meditations in the Forest and all the modules of Awakening Being.

For setting the ground in thought, it's just kind of a game. It's not really about meditating on ideas about the universe, at all. It's just a game to get the attention sensing a greater sense here in this life.

In this introduction and induction into surrender, I spend a little time on a scientific story of the universe, which when you hear it, is not really different from a universe created and run by a divine intelligence, by a higher power, God, Spirit, or whatever human words and notions you want to use.

What ever it is, it is all.

All is!

Whatever is this universe that we can't know or grasp in our mind, it is everything that is.

In the simple act of surrender we will still often have a feeling that we are part, and apart. This is one of the natural flavors of life. Even our most intimate sense of presence contains a trace of that separation. In surrender we offer everything, including even our sense of self, to the universe, to all, even if we feel we can't do it, even if it doesn't make sense to give something back to what it already belongs to.

That's surrender too-- you can't do it!

So surrender anyway, and surrender to the fact that you cannot surrender.

This intro and the practice guided meditations to follow will help you intuitively feel your way into this.
