Recognizing Yourself After Thought

Alan Klima

Playing with the Reverberations and Echoes of Thoughts

This guided contemplation  through three simple steps for a playful exploration of what happens in our bodies and inner mental attitudes after a long thought, then noticing that we can shift those reverberations to make them a little better.

It’s not that we should keep constant monitoring over these echoes and reverberations. It’s just sensitizing ourselves to what happens after thought. Learning is happening and it’s going deep.

By all means if you feel like replaying this process any time to massage and soothe yourself, go for it. There is a cool skill to learn here.

But do understand that the most important and long-lasting effect of this practice is the deeper learning part of it, where something in us is guided to learn about thought and it’s place in our body-mind stream, and will automatically go to work on waking us up out of what is not serving us.
